Judy...

I didn't hear the original version for years. I first heard a version of the song by the Wondermints, and I was astonished to hear that it had originally been recorded by Glen Campbell; my only childhood memories of him involved the words "Rhinestone" and "Cowboy." It took forever, but I finally hunted down a best-of collection that included the song: "The Essential Glen Campbell, Volume 3." It had been really hard to come by for awhile, but nowadays it can be found of many different, more definitive collections. I hear one of the best is called, appropriately enough, "Rhinestone Cowboy: The Best of Glen Campbell."
