I just received an mp3 of an unreleased Eric Carmen track, "Never Say Die."
The track was originally recorded in 1991, but this version keeps only
Carmen's vocal, with all-new backing supplied by Tommy Allen of The Flashcubes. And
it's very good.
I don't have permission to distribute this (so please don't ask), but
I do have permission to play it on the radio Sunday night. It will probably
lead off the show (after theme song and introductions), so those interested
should tune in Sunday night from 9 to midnight Eastern at www.wxxe.org. The rest
of the show may not be half-bad, either.
