I guess it's time for ELO bashing - huh?

I never heard them as Beatle copyists at all. Just one of the few big bands
in the 70's and 80's that were capable of producing quality pop music
consistently. As for Lynne's production techniques - yeah, they weren't
suited to some artists at all. The Edmunds stuff is pretty bad, but then
again I seem to remember the material not being that good either.

And Bev Bevan is a wonderful drummer. For that matter so is Alan White, who
actually played on Instant Karma. Lynne may be a sloppy producer but he's
more than welcome to do my next disc.
