There are a couple or reasons to cherish Mr. Jennings. His knowledge
conclusively reveals that some guy has actually shagged less than I have.
(Believe me, I'm being diplomatic when I say this. I mean, I could've said,
This guy would rather crack open an encyclopedia than his wife. Not having
seen his wife, I can't comment on the intelligence of his decision.) And his
connection to God arose from a guy who said some metal plates were revealed
to him by an angel - in the 19th century. That, in my opinion ladies and
gentlemen, is nothing more than a cult, and is one step below having one's
connection to God invented by a 20th-century writer of pulp fiction. Um,
that would be Scientology. Where in the hell are the brilliant agnostics?
So, thank you Ken Jennings, for making me feel superior in ways you couldn't
imagine. But I will feel the best when your Alfred E. Neuman puss is
dethroned and America will no longer have to put up with your plastic smiles
and artificial "phews!" any longer.
