I cringe every time I hear any cherished song of my youth "appear" on
Madison Avenue.

But you have to feel some sympathy for Raymond Douglas Davies. He sold a
tremendous amount of records back in the 60s, but he signed contracts of
dubious merit and recorded for Pye, not exactly the Rolls-Royce of record
labels. Any dough he makes in 2004 is dough overdue--Steve.
