I don't quite hear the ELO influence in Melony either, but I *do* hear it in
another Swedish band, Grass~Show.  The songs "Freak Show" and, particularly,
"Illusion", from their excellent 1995 album Something Smells Good In
Stinkville, really reek of early '80s ELO.
