Ha, Mt View is just 35 miles from SF & 10 miles from San Jose, fyi
~5 million people have less than an hour drive there (non-commute hrs).
Here in BGP country the scuttlebut is that high ticket prices for new
and inosaur acts alike (which now includes bands from the early 90's
folks - Ha again! ;> - you youngsters are aging a bit huh?) have finally
made concert goers to cry uncle. Bill Graham Presents (part of SFX owned
by Clear Channel) owns & operates Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mt View (the
venue Arthur mentions) have slashed lawn seat prices and I hear will be
cutting reserved pricing soon.
