Yea... I picked it up today also (the BIG BB fan that I've always been)... The thing about an album either by Wilson, McCartney, or back then, The Beatles is that upon first listen neither of them stuck... that is, in my opinion, a good thing... Great albums in my life have always been the ones that I s-l-o-w-l-y discover a little nuance here and there... Granted Brian Wilson's "Gettin' in Over My Head" may not be "great" in the sense of a classic, but it does, upon first listen, echo the brilliance of what made him a genius in the world of rock.. After hearing the first cut and comparing to the others they couldn't have opened it with a better feel-good-summer-tune... Elton helping on vocals and piano makes it even better... "Gettin' in Over My Head" may not be Brian's best, but we can always count on him to come and brighten up our summer every 6 years or so with a solo release... It'll grow on you...

Cheers

Miguel
