...anybody diggin' on the latest Velvet Crush elpee as much as yrs
truly?
GAWD, I love these guys! I'm stuck on "California Incline" for the
past coupla' days. At home, in the car, I just have the damn song on
repeat! Nick Rudd's MASSIVE guitar freak out on that is just simply
exquisite!
Stereo Blues has such a nice loose-ish feel to it, a little more of a
lo-fi approach this time as Eric and Paulie did this one w/Adam Schmitt
this time, no Mitch. LOUD album too, love that loudness!
CANNOT WAIT for the V-Cruch/Matthew Sweet gigs coming up. August down
The Fiddler for you Londonites! Never seen em w/their pal Mssr Sweet
as guest guit slinger. This time tho Matthew gets his own private gig
somwhere w/in the evening's festivities. Man ...just thinking, seen em
w/both Sir David Minehan and Mitch Easter, same night once, coupla'
times w/just Dave/just Mitch. The Tommy Keene shows were quite
spectacular as well, can't wait! All my fave peeps in the world
brought together for a common cause w/in the same band at one point in
time or another, not bad!
Ric and Paul are treasures to be sure!
