I just heard about this on the radio. I don't think I was seriously
planning on attending the festival this summer, but I was just
discussing the possibility of going a few days ago with a friend.
I wonder if the poor ticket sales had to do with the fact that they had
decided to split the show this year into two days (like they do with
Coachella). I had heard Perry talking on the radio about it and he
seemed pretty excited about the concept, but that was one of the main
things that was keeping me from buying tickets myself... wanting to see
bands that were playing both days, but not really wanting to attend both
days.. and having a hard time trying to decide between the two.
