No, he's been at it for decades. I just never saw his name in credits before.

The thing is, unless you're either a sunshine pop obsessive or a
completist, you don't need all seven Free Design albums. Honestly, I think
you'll be fine with just the best-of. The Free Design are fine, but
they're distinctly second-tier.
