For Philly-area Auditeers, Fountains of Wayne will be playing at WXPN's "Singer/Songwriter Weekend" on Friday, July 16 at Penn's Landing (outdoor stage). Tickets are only $10 (cheaper for WXPN members, although I am not one). The time listed is 6pm-9pm and so far only one other act is listed for that night. Maybe it would be possible for any attending Auditeers to meet up and say hello.
And.... I just read about Sony/Legacy's reissue of Rockpile's "Seconds of Pleasure" CD (maybe this is old news). Anyway, I found a copy for about $11 on overstock.com. I always loved this record, and jumped at the chance to grab this reissue.
Just thought I'd share these "tips" with my pals.
