The U.S. single version (on which Burdon sings "See my daddy in bed") is a
different take from the one released in the U.K. and other territories (on which
Burdon sings "Watch my daddy in bed"). The U.K. version is the one that
appears on every Animals CD comp, including the American one that ABKCO released
several years ago. The U.S. version, i.e. the one that Americans grew up with,
will make its CD debut on an upcoming ABKCO Animals compilation, which comes
out in August.

<< Can anybody help with this? Does anybody know where one can find the
original version of We Gotta Get Out Of This Place by Eric Burdon and the
Animals? Is the original version on any CD. Every version I've heard
lately has had an alternate vocal. I like to hear them the way I originally
heard them. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. >>
