I caught the Redwalls when they opened for Owsley at the Paradise Lounge here
a while back, and had the same reaction. Their live performance was
brilliant... they channel the Kinks, Small Faces and especially the Beatles in
a really charming way, from their hairstyles and dress to the shared mic for
harmonies and even the Hoeffner bass, but also throw a modern twist into their
sound.

The record was a little flatter, but still quite evocative of that time period
we all know and love. Really looking forward to their major label debut.
