Hi Everyone,

If you're in the L.A. area on Thursday, come on out to The Scene in Glendale
for International Pop Overthrow Presents!

Here’s the lineup:

8:30 Brady Harris: This captivating singer/songwriter has come to The Scene
all the way from Venice! Well ok, it’s Venice, CA, but this in no way
compromises his excellent tunes, which fall somewhere between John Lennon
and Americana! You can hear said tunes on his CD, Lone Star, so named in
honor of his Texas upbringing! www.bradyharris.com

9:15 Leisure McCorkle: We’re always grateful when this gentleman makes his
way to IPO (several of them!) all the way from Charlotte, North Carolina!
Fans of Joe Jackson and Graham Parker will love his sturdy rock ‘n roll, as
he possesses a voice so strong that he really doesn’t need a microphone!
Check out his CD, Jet Set Baby, and you’ll know what I’m talkin’ about!

10:00 Plasticsoul: Essentially a thinly veiled disguise for
singer/songwriter/producer Steven Wilson. Over the past decade Steven has
been performing various roles in multiple bands while compiling a large
catalogue of original, dynamic pop songs. As testement to their
international appeal, Plasticsoul’s “Sunblessed Cleopatra” EP made its way
into the college radio top 20 in Germany, Canada and Brazil! A lot of sound
is represented with these guys, from Crowded House to Cole Porter and all
points west. www.plasticsoulmusic.com

10:45 Maryz Eyez: These four young modern rockers from Kalamazoo, Michigan,
are starting to make a lot of noise in the industry, and for good reason, as
their contemporary pop/punk sound is right and ready for today’s radio!
They’re in the midst of a countrywide tour with Leisure McCorkle (see
above), packing their brand new full-length CD with them! www.maryzeyez.net

11:30 The Pacific: A happening L.A. foursome who proudly wave the banner
that Oasis used to carry, while adding their own New Millennium spin to it
all. They’re busy working on their upcoming record, which promises to be a
good one. Hey girls, they’re really cute, too! www.thepacific.us

Admission for the show is $5. The Scene is located at 806 East Colorado St.
in Glendale, and is a 21+ club. Their phone is 818 241-7029, and their
website is www.thescenebar.com.

We hope to see you there!
