Here are a few shows that folks might be interested in: (was FOW play XPN
singer songwriter weekend)
Saturday July 3 our pals the Jellybricks are opening for Fountains of Wayne
in Harrisburg PA- promoting their new CD "Power This!"
Sunday July 4 finds FOW and the Jellybricks paired once again, this time in
Lancaster PA with pals IKE and The Jane Anchor also on the bill and some other
bands too- I don't have the list in front of me
Wednesday July 7 finds too much going on with Ben Folds, Rufus Wainwright and
Guster playing outdoors in Philly, while faves The Jane Anchor play the North
Star Bar opening for Juliana Hatfield. I think we'll try to do it all....
Heading north a bit the following week Cliff Hillis & The Forward Thinkers
will be playing their Boston Pop Underground debut at the Lizard Lounge in
Cambridge along with NYC's Brilliant Mistakes and Winterpills from NoHo.
Guess you know where I'll be!
We had a great time this past week in L.A. and want to publicly thank
everyone who came out to the TallBoy Showcase at the Derby. Cliff and the band rocked
the house, and Anna Borg is the pop hostess with the mostess. Hoping to get
back there soon!
