Those of us who get the digest version of audities
feel especially strongly about people trimming the
lengthy previous responses from their posts. Perhaps
Tam was not as polite as he/she could've been about
letting a new member know this, but in general there
is nothing wrong with asking (again, politely) that
list members follow basic e-list ettiquette - I have
made this plea numerous times.
There is nothing more annoying in listland than
getting a digest where *every* poster in the digest
includes the previous person's posts. I will tend to
delete those digests altogether, after reading a
handful of posts and realizing that I'm just scrolling
and scrolling through a ton of stuff I read
previously.
So even if this issue was not handled in the best way,
hopefully it will remind all posters to trim for the
sake of those of us receiving the digests.
Thanks,
--Shawn
