I thought "Solid Zinc" (funny title) was an excellent 2-CD set and a good
introduction to the band. It does include the original mono mixes of many
early
hits though. Any of the older Turtles compilations and LP reissues on
Rhino or
Sundazed are worth picking up if you're on a budget. The reissues on
LazerLight
looked cheap and skimpy.
