All this talk about the Bears reminds me of a favorite musical memory.
Around 1978 or so, the local hard rock bar in my hometown of Jackson MS had
The Bears precursor band The Raisins for an entire week of shows. I saw them
every night and pretty much had my mind blown. Rob Fetters is an amazing
talent and the rest of the band was hardly chopped liver. Somewhere in the
archives I still have a handbill for their series of shows.
