And as I was sitting in a meeting at work all morning, guess which song I
could NOT pry out of my head, no matter how hard I tried?
I mean, if I had to get a freaking Styx song stuck in my head, why couldn't
it have been "Too Much Time On My Hands" or something?
The next time that happens, try Kelly Cronin's suggestion of running "You're
a Grand Old Flag" through your head. It really works. It'll flush out any
earworm you've got, no matter how insidious. And when it's done, you won't
be stuck with "You're a Grand Old Flag" running through your head all day in
its place.
