Hey Josh Chasin,
That's as good a comparison as I could hope for.
Now, er ahem....
The original form of my last name is of course the Brit Sutcliffe and I'm
probably distantly related to Stu although by all accounts I'm a slightly
better bassist. But the Pennsylvania American derivation is spelled Sutliff
(without the C in the middle and the E at the end). Apparently my
revolutionary war era ancestors were poor spellers and mispelled their own
name.
The best mispelling of my name can be found on the French Windbreakers
release "Disciples Of Agriculture". There I'm listed as Booby Stuliff. Of
course Tim Lee calls me that to this day...
