yeah, and don't forget the discount...:-)

Cliff Hillis (ha! outed ya!) and myself, Jeff Teez, 1987-88-89, Kemp
Mill Records (later Kemp Mill Music), Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. Kurt
Kroncke (Baltimore, D.C. and beach-area radio jock) was on staff as
well. We had a great run. Big fun, many great memories, lots of great
music. A friend and I opened an "under-21 progressive dance club" called
The Rock Lobster around the corner in late 1989. That was pretty much
insane (in a good but probably unrepeatable way). Cliff ran the light
board for us, to pick up a couple extra bucks on occasion. And believe
me, a couple extra bucks is all we could afford to pay him! <grin> I
don't think we had a serious care in the world between us back then
(besides who gets to open the newly arrived boxes of fresh product
first).

Kemp Mill is no longer in Rehoboth Beach, Record and Tape Traders have
moved in to that location and they seem to be doing well (so far).
Bought the new Spymob there for $12.99 a couple weeks ago and one of the
staff actually recognized it from their new release list. Lots of
assorted rock merchandise in addition to the expected cd inventory.
