A couple of new things on my radar that I'm really digging:
By Divine Right/Sweet Confusion- Canadian band that has a full length coming out on spinART next month. The lead off track "The Slap" is about as catchy of a song as you'll hear all year. Think of a more pop version of The Strokes' "Last Nite"
John Howard- Listening to a song of his called "Goodbye Suzie" on the new Uncut magazine CD sampler. Looks to a be UK only artist. Anyone know more about this guy? This track is pretty hooky, but not what I'd call power pop.
