I thought it was Reckless that they were trying to
emulate? Especially what with the JackBlack-esque
arrogance levels typically to be found in the
wickerpark/bucktown location (though truthfully i
haven't been to the other Reckless in years anyway.) I
think Record Emporium blows, personally, but maybe
that's because I haven't talked to the folks in it
and/or owner like you did, DB.

laurie's planet of sound forever! (or at least until i
decide once and for all that they aren't carrying
enough new pop for my taste, which happens
occasionally, when they are between knowledgable
popsters on the staff.)
