I was listening to Jonesy's Jukebox on our new Indie 103.1 station this
afternoon (hosted by Steve Jones of the Sex Pistols) and he played a
song by a band called The Like. Well, I just found their website @
http://www.ilikethelike.com/ and I really dig their stuff...
Apparently it's 3 girls, all 17 or younger, according to what they were
saying on the radio today. They're playing an Indie sponsored show at
The Viper Room on Monday March 14th (also on the bill, The Waking Hours
and The Dollyrots) if you have a chance to see them. I'm going to try
and make it myself.
If you decide to visit the website, go to music and listen to the
first song on EP #1 .. That's the song that was played today!
