I remember seeing a few great shows here when
I lived down in "O.C." -- among them:
I saw Peter Gabriel do a solo show (his head
recently shaved, as I recall), and then after the
show, while a bunch of us were still hanging out
in front of the club, he came out, talked to us
a little bit and then ran across the street to the
beach...we followed...he ran into the ocean
and swam around a little bit...
I saw The Knack play a great show, before the
release of their debut....Doug Feiger was in
fine form, as I recall, and waded out on to the
top of the tables --
I saw a bunch of late 70's, early '80s new wave
type bands -- the Motels, and the Cats (featuring
Freddie Moore, Demi Moore's first husband)...
