My vote goes to any member of Squeeze. Both Glenn Tilbrook and Chris Difford
are perfect gentlemen when it comes to dealing with fans. I've talked to
them a bunch over the years and never found them anything but cheerful and
accomodating.
The same holds true for ex-Squeeze bassist Keith Wilkinson. He and I have a
lovely chat when Squeeze played Tuxedo Junction in Danbury, Conn., back in
1993. Terrific, terrific guy.
Marty Willson-Piper and Peter Koppes of The Church are also great, and even
their "notoriously enigmatic" frontman (ha! what a cliche!) Steve Kilbey is
a joy.
john.
