Thought I'd try to get a thread going on the topic of autographs and close encounters... has any auditeer had an autograph encounter with a "star" and actually been able to exchange a few words?... Well, even if this thread stops right here I'll throw one in (to get it off my chest...lol)
A few years ago Paul Revere & The Raiders came to South Florida , there was a meet & greet session after the show and I had brought with me at least 4 old original Columbia Raiders albums that were in almost mint shape... as Paul signed them he told me "Man, I don't even have some of these myself"... I don't know if that was a "hint-hint" "Can I have one?", but he was really nice and we had our picture taken together too... I also met Peter Noone of Herman's Hermits, very down-to-earth... Allowed me to snap his pic as he signed... Any other encounters out there?
