No need for litigation (though, of course, that's never stopped anyone).
Tony Burrows sang on that hit version of "Beach Baby" by First Class.
Incidentally, Varese Sarabande has a wonderful Tony Burrows collection as part of its
Bubblegum Classics series; the single disc collects all of these Edison
Lighthouse, White Plains, Pipkins, Brotherhood Of Man and First Class hits, plus
non-hits and even--believe it or not!--some material released under Burrows' own
name!
