Raven Records in Knoxville single-handedly kept alive the local music scene
through their employment of otherwise-unemployable musicians in the
80's/90's.
They also helped me get fired from my college radio gig.
jay (owner) offered to let me have a sealed vinyl copy of Metal Machine
Music if I'd play it on the air.
I did.
All four sides.
