But to address the question Judy posed...

My musically-formative years were influenced by my older siblings (youngest
of 7 that I am), and thankfully, they had some good taste at the time,
and/or much of what was wildly popular in those days (late 60's/early 70's)
also happened to be wildly good.

Stuff I vividly remember from my toddlerhood:

Beatles Blue album (1967-1970 compilation)

Chicago Transit Authority

Simon and Garfunkel "Bridge Over Troubled Water"

Beatles "Abbey Road" (side 2 was played far more than side 1)

Paul McCartney "Uncle Albert/Admiral Halsey" (I remember riding around on my
tricycle at age four to the "Admiral Halsey" part)

And a whole raft of early 70's AM hits, any one of which can transport me
instantaneously to my youth. Vividly memorable cheesy goodness like "Alone
Again (Naturally)", "Seasons in the Sun", "Tracy", "Billy, Don't Be a Hero",
"Claire" (the lyrics of which strike me today as being vaguely
pedophilic).... Do I like these songs? It's really hard to say, but they
definitely made an impact on me, good or evil.

Christopher
