There's such a thing as TOO big, and I think the San Francisco Amoeba falls
into that category. I've been once, and it was so large that I simply shut
down. I hate a store where you have to pack a lunch to look at everything.
I just went to the deep-discount remainder bins by the cashiers, kept a
running total in my head until I hit a hundred bucks (which was at the
start of the Gs), and checked out. I don't think I even looked at the rest
of the store.
