Tim, I was just kind of joking, I know there was no intention on your side
to offend anyone. When i read your post it was just to easy for me to make a
joke.

As for a scene in Madrid, here there are many bands, some are good, lots of
them suck. My favourite is The Happy Losers. They have also played IPO, and
have just released a new album, "Bubbles" that I am enjoying a lot these
days. Their previous, " Harry, Beardo, Doc & Barry", produced by Michael
Carpenter is also good. They are also super nice guys, which is a plus to
me. You can hear clips at www.happylosers.com www.rockindiana.biz and
www.popmadrid.com (here go to the left of the screen and click on Descargas
,downloads in spanish)

Rock Indiana is the label that is recording most of the pop bands in Madrid,
so you can hear some of this bands in their site.
Recommended: Grand Prix (they are from Argentina, but currently living and
recording in Madrid) and The Sunday Drivers (well, they are really from
Toledo, near Madrid, thay have a web site with mp3,
www.thesundaydrivers.com ).

Some other Spanish bands worth to check: Carrots (kind of psych-sunshine
pop), Mr. Snoid (plain power pop), Juniper Moon (punk-pop), Los Acusicas
(alt-punk-pop), La Granja (power-pop), Sidonie (the last hype in Spain.
Recent posts here about them. I don´t like their first recordings, but their
last album "shell Kids" sounds very good to me. www.sidonie.net , click in
Musica for sound clips)...

it's because I'm unaware of a great rock and roll scene in Madrid, and since

notch, and their disc is a good as they were live. Again, highly
recommended.

>No offense intended, Rafael.
