You can pretty much name it -- this is from the AMG
credits from his beautiful trainwreck of a solo album,
1998's "12 Bar Blues" (I have the CD at home but not
here at work):

"Scott Weiland - Synthesizer, Guitar (Acoustic), Bass,
Guitar, Percussion, Piano, Mellophonium, Voices,
Producer, Vibraphone, Beat Box, Photography, Drum
Loop, Design Contract"

He also played various instruments on some of the
Stone Temple Pilots records ("Purple", guitar and
percussion; "No. 4", organ; "Shangri-La Di Da",
keyboards). Note that he never played "Design
Contract" while with STP. ;)

There's something intimate about "12 Bar Blues" that
continues to periodically move me; I find myself
digging it out every couple of years and giving it a
spin. Personally, I think Weiland is an awesome
musician, songwriter, performer, rock star, and heroin
addict -- mainstream success be damned.
