Yes, but don't forget that Elton had some kind of epiphany a few
years ago and discounted everything he did after Captain Fantastic
for being horribly shlocky and soul-less -- so that kind of awareness
has to count for some kind of offset, doesn't it?

We submit (at number one, we think):
PAUL McCARTNEY. I like the first two solo CD's but as soon as Wings
hit the fan it was all over. "Someone's Knockin' At The Door" has to
be one of the worst songs ever written, this from the man who gave us
"Blackbird" and "Yesterday". Talk about de-evolution!

Jimm says: "Elvis Presley -- he was doing great stuff until 1977, but
all of the recent CDs have just been crappy remixes!" (Don't pay any
attention, Sam -- the boy is a bit confused. He thinks Elvis is
living in a trailer in Raisin City, CA. I love him anyway.)

Hugs,
Wend
