Three best things about that Frontline show:
1. Mark Hudson complaining that because of the Hudson Brothers' Razzle-Dazzle
hour he was always perceived as too "zany" to be taken seriously as a rock and
roll artist. He is in the costume locker on the studio lot, modeling his old
Bob Mackie gown with the built-in falsies by way of demonstrating visually how
his stint in a television variety show made sad a mockery of his music. But I
can't listen because I'm too busy focusing on what appears to be his PURPLE
MOUSTACHE and RAINBOW-STRIPED BEARD.
2. The drummer from GnR talking about all the "explenitudes" in an apparently
not-safe-for-radio song.
3. Developing new respect for David Crosby, who seems to have been
consistently motivated by a genuine love for music.
Flame me if you must, but go easy on the explenitudes,
A
