Robbie Rist (debuting his new TallBoy Records single,
as well as performing M.C. duties)

Eugene Edwards Band  (his TallBoy Records debut cd is
due out end of June.  Four words we like to use to
describe Gene are melodious, twangy, wistful,
seductive.)

Cliff Hillis and the Forward Thinkers (sophomore cd
out NOW on TallBoy.  These boys came all the way from
Delaware, so show the love!)

The Smooth Pursuit (bringing a certain “My Morning
Jacket” vibe, they are young and rough around the
edges.  We like that.  A lot.)

Krister Axel (The Derby will wheel out the ol’ baby
grand for this closing set.  Rootsy, down-home, the
voice of experience.)
