I believe that if you record in analog mode from the original sources then
you'll be able to copy the master without problems. it'll only take you some
more time to set the levels song by song but you have to do it just once...

Subject: CD copying question
Ladies and gentlemen...
Quick question for the lot of you. I finally finished my contribution to
SOTT 18 and settled in to make copies of my disc...only to find that,
somehow, the mix disc that I made is copy-protected. I don't entirely
understand this. I could see if a disc from which I was taking a song to
include on the disc was copy-protected, but how can it be that I've
successfully made the disc...and now I can't make a copy of the copy? I've
made a lot of mix discs on this stereo-component CD recorder, and I made
copies of my SOTT 17 disc without incident...but this is the first time I've
come across this problem. In the meantime, I'm making copies of the disc
one at a time, using the original source material each time...but you can
imagine how long that's going to take. Can anyone assist me with this
issue...?
Latah,
