Greetings Pop People -

A gentle reminder that tomorrow night, Tuesday, May 18, Boston Pop Underground
presents a unique cabaret-style evening of music like nothing else you've ever
witnessed on a Boston stage. And nothing you will ever witness again.

Pop virtuoso and head Candy Butcher Mike Viola will kick off the proceedings
and host the entire evening, accompanied by what we're told is actually an
early Candy Butchers lineup: former Snap! drummer, childhood pal, and
stage-banter king Todd Foulsham, and -- straight from New York City -- bassist
Dan Weinkauf from They Might Be Giants' notorious "band of Dans." That's right
folks -- it's not a solo/acoustic show anymore. It's a whole band. A band you
won't see anywhere else.

Pretty cool, right? Wait, it gets better: joining Mike tomorrow night are two
very special guests, both stars in their own right: Columbia/Aware recording
artist Bleu (yes, the guy with the mutton chops, the one who totally ROCKS)
and the incredibly talented Paula Kelley, performing solo and with various
members of her impressive PK Orchestra.

Now... here's where it gets *really* interesting. I have it on very good
authority that not only will Mike, Bleu, and Paula be performing their own
material, but it seems they've all been huddling... and we may be treated to
various combinations of Candy Butchers, Bleu and PK performing some cover
songs together. TOGETHER! The mind reels.

With all this talent on one stage, the evening promises to be a grand exercise
in serendipity, and just a whole lot of fun.

If you see just one show this year, make it this show.
