I was thinking that after reading Jason's comment. Friday, I had The Time's
debut on my car stereo, and it's another album that needs to be remastered.
However, I think Prince's relationship is so poisoned it may never happened.
It's too bad -- the DIRTY MIND sound that Prince used pre-PURPLE RAIN (and
on the first two Time records and Vanity Six's one LP) is one of the great
sounds in pop and funk -- insanely trebly, but with a contrasting deep
bottom. Love it...
