I just wanted to post a quick note to let everyone know that the debut CD
by the L.A. band The Dollyrots is now available. It came out this past
Tuesday and I got mine in the mail today.
It's called "Eat My Heart Out" and features 13 pop-punk songs including
a cover of "Be My Baby" (currently streaming on the all cover song
edition of my show). I saw these guys in Nashville at IPO and they
also played at Chicago IPO as well, but they are from Los Angeles.
They will also be at L.A.'s IPO this summer (July 24th according to their
site) and the CD is getting airplay on our new Indie 103.1 station.
It was produced by John "Strawberry" Fields, who has done some
work lately with Andy Sturmer of Jellyfish..
