I had the pleasant surprise of catching The Stands open for Beulah.  I knew 
nothing of them before the show, and they made a quick and positive impression 
on me.   They also played Saturday at the Troubadour.  Doesn't look like they 
are due back to the states any time soon.  Too bad.  

Oh, and Beulah were amazing.
