Thought somebody here might find it interesting that my band's show at
Maxwell's tomorrow night will apparently be the first concert fans will
be able to purchase in mp3 form and download to a pen drive (USB drive)
minutes after we finish playing. They'll be able to buy a pen drive if
they don't have their own.
This event actually got coverage today on 1010 WINS, the major NYC
all-news station (and I believe the most listened to radio station in the
country). The newspiece mentioned the club and the company that's
providing the systems, but not my band. Still, one of my bandmates
nearly drove off the road when he heard our show being promoted on WINS.
