Interesting comment -- I was not so hot on YHF, but I like Ghost better. If
anything, this album is schizo, with a couple extremely self-indulgent
tracks (which both clock in over 10 minutes), and then some songs that would
have fit on Summerteeth and a few others that would be more suited for YHF.
I think this this has more strong songs than YHF, but does not flow as well.
It does not change my opinion that a lot of experiment that Tweedy and Co.
are doing is more for experimentation's sake, rather than utilizing new
sounds and textures to enhance songs. It's as if he's really bored with
standard rock presentation, but hasn't effectively figured out what he can
do to get around it.
