I'll add my twelve cents in here, too, saying that this is DEFINITELY a fab
disc, all right. As I was saying to Ms. Borg a few days ago, if Gene's record
doesn't land somewhere in my top 3 of this year, I'd be surprised.
Across-the-board solid songwriting, great vocals, superb melodies and a sound
that falls somewhere near early E. Costello/Squeeze/classic power pop.
Stunning, most assuredly.
