I'm with Stewart and Michael on this one too. I was not a huge fan of Dire
Straits, but up to that point, I did respect them. However, the release of
Brothers In Arms was a pretty shallow attempt to cash in. And Money For
Nothing is one of the most annoying, trite songs ever made.
But what really made me lose my respect for them was the appearance of those
horrible headbands Knopfler and the other guitarist wore in the video and
when they performed. Yuck!
