Jaimie,

Tears for Fears sang:
kick out the Style, bring back the Jam

I love 'em both. and was totally sucked in by My Ever Changing Moods.

The initial Style Council release in the US was calle My Ever Changing Moods.
Like you said... different tracks, order, and mixes from Cafe Bleu.

The total confusion was added to with this:
My Ever changing Moods came out on vinyl.
The cassette tracks were different from the vinyl.
Neither the vinyl nor the tape matched the cd. The cd was initially Cafe Bleu
with euro track listing and mixes. Promo releases were different than all of
the above. And the they release a single of Long Hot Summer that's not on any
of them.

I strongly prefer the US vinyl mixes and haven't heard a cd to match.
And you're right, You're the Best Thing is an awesome track. (I think Lenny
Kravitz was trying a little Style out with It Ain't Over Till It's Over.)

>I've always wondered what was released in the US....

>The European release was called Cafe Bleu....this was the import we got in
Canada. Then it was released in North America domestically -- different
track list, different running order, different mixes. Is this the version
you call "My Ever Changing Moods"?

"You're The Best Thing" may just be one of the greatest non-Motown soul
songs of all time.
