absolutely. her *particular*, singular version.   i'm certain that its still as gorgeous as i remember.   been bouncing all over the internet, and so far all i can find is that import christopher mentioned.    im on a mission, but still cannot justify that kind of expense.  so....if anybody can help me out, pleasepleaseplease!    thanks auditeers, harris       ps:  anyone here seen or heard nelly mackay?   she seems to have a massive p.r. machine behind her. am wondering if anyone could deliver on the heels of such hype.

I assume it's that *particular* rendition of the song you're jonesing for.
In which case, the only option I know of is currently the Japanese import on
Universal/Polygram. And you'll pay through the nose for it.

If that's not the case, there are any number of recordings of that Rodgers
and Hart standard. One of the more recent (and "modern") is a DJ remix on
the Verve-released "Verve/Remixed" (catchy, huh?) of an Ella Fitzgerald
recording. I've also got a smooth-as-silk gender-switched version, "Wait
Till You See Her", by a guy named Jubilant Sykes.

I gotta say, though, Helen Merrill is one tasty singer. Some 50 years
later, she's still putting out great stuff.
