I talked to Derek in Liverpool in the summer of 2001 about this. He laughed,
and laughed. The original "track" was a drum check left-over from another
song on the LP....isolated without instruments it became filler for the LP
and Derek's only writing credit as a Roller by himself.

Derek hadn't drummed in 15 years when I saw him...he was attending a fan
gathering in Liverpool and sat in for the song "Shang-A-Lang" with a tribute
band hired for the night. He nailed it. Not bad for a guy out of shape and
out of practice.

A real humble and appreciative guy....

Jaimie Vernon,
Bullseye
