was thinking about video waitresses, too! too much tv
at a tender age...
but also the Tom Waits song "Ghost of Saturday Night"
has some of the best waitress description ever:
"as he dreams of a waitress with maxwell house eyes,
marmelade thighs,
and scrambled yellow hair...
her rhinestone studded moniker says "IRENE"
as she wipes the wisps of dishwater blonde from her
eyes..."
LOVE that man. Love him.
